I'm attempting to get a repro (OCD) FST top installed on a set of OEM bows and WS channel. What is the recommended order/process that makes this the easiest?

1. Install bows onto truck
2. Install WS channel to top of WS

then...?

Thanks,
mark

That is the only way to get them in ... Unless you have a canvas that jim made with an aluminum bar that slides into the bow in place of the welting ... It's like what kayline was doing for their oem FST replacement canvas ... I think jim did a few like this for people that had the bars

The kayline instructions are on the next page of that thread I think

Johnny,
No... mine have the sewn-in piece that slides into the channels. Thanks for the info... it looks like it'll with out. Now I need to find THE place to order the turn buckles and the footman loops... Do you have that info handy?

And hey, you really should try to make it to the GCLC Labor Day weekend thing in Cairo, NY... PM me if you can make it.

The Toyota ones don't come with the female side right?

Are there any others out there with a stud/nut like the Toyota ones?

What is the right size of the female part to fit the Toyota twist lock piece?

Icon 4x4 uses tenax fasteners, as well as Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari ...
Trying to see if they make them with a stud/nut like the Toyota ones?

Ok I just went through this entire process a couple months ago. I bought all of those twist fasteners from SOR , and all of them came with a lock washer and nut on them . When you say "female part"
Are you only referring to the washer and nut or am I missing something here ?
