power steering gear box. (1 Viewer)

Been having a big power steering leak lately so i took it to the mechanic and he told me it was the gear box. does anyone know someone in the dfw area that will either rebuild them or has a new/used one?

West Texas Off Road in San Angelo will do a refresh, reseal on the gear box for $161. Turnaround time is pretty good right now, Just reinstalled mine. Many here have used them.

im not sure about how the inside of it is, i just know that its leaking

Yes, remove yours and ship it to them. Don't think they do a core exchange, I doubt they have Cruiser gear boxes laying around.
I even ground two distinguishing marks into my gearbox housing to ensure what I got back was mine.

Also, the leaking could be the power steering lines leaking.

x2 on power steering lines. I thought for sure my box was leaking, but new lines and no more leaky!
