Sitting on the axle finally even if it is only temporary. Uptravel be damned!
My truck just has no travel.
I know this is G-offs thread so I'm gonna hijack it.
Does anyone think I should remove a leaf in an effort to smooth out my ride & possible get some flex?

For those of you not on the 16yr old girl text string:
Had it sitting on tires last week as a roller:
It looks tall as hell in that pic, but it actually sits pretty low. Not John's 4 runner low, but close!
This big Mother Fxxxer barely fits, but modified the alternator bracket and it now does..... I think:
Next week im going to notch the oil pan, and maybe have this thing driving if i can find some shocks.

I shed a slight tear taking it all back apart again last night to prep for this weeks work of finishing the welding on the axle, frame, notching the oil pan and getting that steering box mounted up. Soon it will be driving....

Its nice to have it back on the road! Speedo is dead on accurate which i haven't had that for 10yrs, the cruise control works, the AC is holding its charge and im dialing in the ride and handling, it may actually be a halfway decent drive! Got a nice swamper vibration from 55-70, why the hell do tires only vibe at that speed and not 35-45?!?!?!?
