Please confirm what i think i know about my transfer case (1 Viewer)

Hey all. I am finishing the tear down of a 78 fj40(11/77 production). I'm trying to identify a few things including my transfer case. On the side of the case is 4 G 0191. From what I've seen on the forum it's gotta be a 74 since it's 4 speed and the last year of the FJ40 was 83. Unless an 84 FJ60 had the same case. Can I get confirmation of the 74 case?
And is the capped opening opposite the e brake on the back the PTO winch opening?

The shift linkage is 74 and earlier and if that is the original transmission it was mated to then 74 makes sense. It could also be a 3spd case mated to a 4spd transmission. The pto location is the long flat panel on the side of the case.

1) it's got a newer style shift linkage than my July 74 t-case
2) the shifter plate can easily be removed or modified to allow for 2WD low range...
