this website is awesome. every time a problem pops up on my 96 theres a thread on said problem right there on the first page. I recently got the p0420 code on startup and its running rich. i was out in the desert and stopped to drink a cold one and when we were done we hopped back in and when i went to start it-it sputtered and the light came on. checked the code and erased. it didn't do it for a week. but when it did do it again it was exactly the same thing, on start up...

Both need gaskets, don't know about rock auto but Amazon came with gaskets.

Yeah, but the Denso listing on Amazon will say fits your vehicle for two different sensors, one of which does not have the correct plug on it. You'd have to splice your old one into the harness. Screw that. For my 1996 US Spec FZJ80 I bought Denso 234-4157 for the upstream fuel/air sensor and Denso 234-4153 for the downstream on Amazon. They both came with the required gasket and both came with the proper plug to exactly replace the OEM sensors I removed. Go that route - you won't be disappointed.

and again...this forum proves a great resource...thanks for the 02 sensor info
