no start off and on (1 Viewer)

Have been driving it all day, park it in a steepish driveway for about 20 minutes. Get back in and it doesn't start, turn key and nothing. All lights on dash turn on with key turned.

Roll it down out of the driveway try the key twice and it starts right up.

Searched around a bit and maybe the starter needs to be rebuilt, anything else I should look at?

Sounds like the starter. Also, gearshift lever can be slightly engaged and that will lead to no start. My 1994 had the no start for no reason issue and replaced starter 2 months ago.

I just started to experience a no start too. Mine will turn over once or twice and then just freeze/stop. Almost like the start gets stuck in place. I'm guessing it's a bad connection to the starter or the starter itself. If I try a few times then it starts right up.

Is there parts available to rebuild or would it even be worth it?

Yes. Very cheap rebuild kit from Beno or your local dealer.

Or just tap on the starter a few times with a wrench and see if it starts back up for you.
