new project. bj42 stretched wheel base. (1 Viewer)

So I think I'm gonna start a new project. I have a beater bj42 next to my garage and a fj40 frame and tub. The 42 has frame rot around the spring perch, wanna amputate the rear of frame and graft the other one on. Hoping to add about 24-30 inches.
I also built an aluminium 1/2tub, hoping to convert it into a short truck box .
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Someone posted a teaser shot of Dan's 40.5 in the other thread you started, Here's the thread on that. Charla and I got to see it in action in Alaska, where it earned the nickname Ike after it beat the pretty face of another truck (Tina) with snapped straps.
