New Member Intro and quick question (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

Decided to join the world of the 60 series land cruiser. Love driving these things, like nothing else. This being my first 60 series, I'm slowly learning how these things work.

I have a quick question. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. The wire that goes to the A/C compressor is not connected to anything at the moment. I have a picture attached. What am I missing here? I looked under the hoof of a friends 60 and there is a small box that the blue connector connects to, looks to me like some type of solenoid. Any tips would be appreciated!

Also the brown connector. What would this be for? Doesn't seem to be anything crucial as my 60 runs great.
