Sweet. Look forward to seeing the lift and tires go on.

What brand and height lift springs did you decide to go with? How big are those tires?

Cooper STT 33x12.5x15

Lift kit is IronMan. I hope for a 4" lift...

More pics to come in the next week or so.

ETA: Stock lift (as is- leafspring top to chassis bottom).

Front
L (driver) 9.75"
R 10.0"

Rear

How is this one coming along?

I would love to see some pictures of the kit and tires on if you got to it. What is the brand and size of those rims? Those look good.

My red cruiser project got put on the way side this year because of my pickup and camper projects.

Sweet looking 60. Tell me more about the lift please.

I have the same gaping body seam on the right side... it really annoys me. I wonder if they came like that from the factory?

WHEELS? What are those wheels man? Please divulge

Guys,

Sorry for the delay to report progress. Was really busy working, parenting and wrenching on my spare time ;)

Cargo door gap: I guess its a common flaw along the lines of the infamous rear driver side slag.

Wheels: ProComp Series 98 15x10 Gloss Black.
Tires: Cooper Discoverer 33x12.5x15
Lift kit: Ironman heavy/heavy. Cell foam shocks.

Please note: Ironman lift kit does not include center bolt spacers for the rear leaf springs nor the sway bar extended links. See links below.

Center Bolt Spacer
MAF Extended Sway Bar Links 60 Series

Rear shock bushings included in the kit were the wrong size for the frame shock base/screws. Easily fixed with 2 packs of Energy Suspension bushings (model 9.8142G if curious).

Here is a tease and a few reports...

Lift installed. I got a pleasant driving experience just after front and rear bumpers were installed. Too stiff of a suspension for a light truck. I just love it know.

Got a relay box from The Wired Wagon and made a custom bracket for it.

Got the 12Voltguy.com dual battery/winch kit. A pic during installation. Note the little red filter near the firewall. Its the front axle extended breather. The rear one got extended into the cargo area (no notable oil odor inside).

Looks great. You're not messing around with this one.

You can't beat red & black. Of course, I'm a UGA fan.
