Shoot me a PM. I like

It is on the semi somewhere between Charlotte and Atlanta. Due in tomorrow or Thursday.

If you need a hand i can wrench a little this weekend if that's when you plan on doing it.

Will check with the boss and see what I can get done this weekend then PM you if there is some planned wrench action going on. I haven't even cleaned up most of my garage since I worked on the Fiat or packed in all the extra parts from the suspension install :)

The goodies are here! I went to the shipping terminal and picked up my 300 lbs. pallet of fun!

Pics and details to come...snorkel will be first!

Parts are in:

Everything showed up. I ended up picking up at the shipping terminal to save on delivery time. The packaging was EXTREMELY well done. This stuff was really done right to make sure it got here undamaged.

All the components are stout and well made. I ordered everything for the Prado 120 series with the Aussie spec V6 petrol motor. I am hoping (and so far is seems so) that these items will bolt up.

Next I will be installing the snorkel!

You can see in this pic the winch plate that gets bolted between the frame rails. This is not built into the overall bumper and cuts the weight down quite a bit when you mount. I believe a few people asking "why IronMan" will value this pic.

I am really excited. Anyone in the ATL area is welcome tomorrow as I install.

Should be starting at around 10 or 11. PM me for info/address.

I could use a hand to take a lot of photos as this is the first of its kind in North America.

I'd love to come throw a wrench on that bad boy but I live approximately 3 million miles away. Ok, maybe not that far, but it would be a haul and put a severely limit my  drinking abilities. Plus the little :princess: is due to come any time now so I need to stay close to home. Can't wait to see the pics though. That bumper is SICK.

Edit: I do have a pretty good camera if you want to get some action shots at GSMTR.

I found a good use for the LATCH system in the back seat:

Hmmmm...that's an interesting idea, making my brain spin. :D

Cheap too...3/8s J hooks, some wood blocks, a couple washers, and a few wing nuts :)

No nerves at all!

Snorkel is on. It is a VERY tight fit but it does work and has 0 tolerance for mistakes and no wiggle room (also results in a very nice finish and super water tight.

NOTES:
- The top bolts are impossible to put on. The GX has a metal panel there and there is no way to get the washers and nut on...I am using the bottom three, the tightness of the holes, and the top screws and it is very secure.
- The snorkel to air box junction is VERY interesting to put in. I had to put it in, situate it, then slide the snorkel into the rubber skirt. Not easy, another set of hands would be handy.
- The inner fender is a BITCH to get out, the clips are tricky. Pliers and patience ruled the day. I would probably just buy another liner and clips from the dealer if I had to do it again and replace it all as I go.

Tomorrow is bumper and winch day. I am concerned over some fitment issues, so it looks like the saw may get some use.
