i test fitted one w/out a lid yesterday, it looks to be about the same size as the OE console, and a good height too. will be looking around the hangar for a nicer one today i am thinking that this will be easy to customize and modify as well with drink holder, interior trays, etc...

One of my favorite mods....more storage space than I know what to do with, and it's the perfect armrest height for me. I need to move the Tuffy cupholder out further in front with some sort of custom bracket, and I'd like to figure out a way to mount a 2lb extinguisher on the back or side of the can

I currently have a 40mm can in the back, but I'm going to be switching that out for two more 20mm mounted on each side.

Mermite mount?

How will you mount it without poking any holes in it?

If its steel, you could mount a couple of fairly strong magnets to the body. Not so buff as you can't remove it, but enough to keep it snug while wheeling.

This seems better compared to the ammo can, being a cooler and all. If you really want cup holders you can always make one that just slides right in there, almost like the paper folding ones from BK and whatnot.

I'm still driving around with this thing in the truck. I would certainly miss it if I had to go back to the stock setup.

I think they are like 25 bux. I still have this in the truck and it's great. Keeps the bevs chilled all day in the hot sun.
