Hi There

Looking to change rear diff LSD oil.
On the catalogue recommended in 80W90 Limited Slip GL 5.

In limited slip version was only able to find in Lebanon 75W140 " Castrol Syntrax Limited Slip"
Will it be OK ?

Anyone know the real difference between LSD 75W140 and 80W90 GL 5 ( regular) ?

Thank you

With 75w-140 gear oil you'll probably get worse fuel economy but it won't hurt anything, I wouldn't recommend using a non lsd fluid in your lsd diff.

If you live in a hot climate (most of the year) you should be fine. Cold winter mornings you might hear a little whine until the lube warms up.

Castrol is a great oil, you'll be fine running either weight, if it is hot more than it is cold there I'd use the 75w-140.
