KZJ78 12V or 24V (1 Viewer)

Hey All,

I have got a 1993 KZJ78 Prado with a dual battery system. All of my bulbs are 12V but is it 24V start? Is there an easy way that I can tell this or is the other battery wired in parallel and the whole system is 12V.

Any light on this would be greatly appreciated.

All LJ and KZJ cruisers are 12v as far as I know.

Check you dash gauge. If it maxes out at 18v, it's a 12v system.

What you have is the winter spec vehicle... With 2 batteries. All the LJ and KZJ are 12V start and run....
