it's looking like "we" get the baton oct 16th from the ny crew.
there is talk of a times square hand off/pick up, however that is not for certain yet.
would anybody else want to ride and or drive along?
it's sounding like it's going to be an early morning(on sight around 7am) in or around nyc somewhere.

i'm going to pick up the baton around philly sometime early next week in the evening.
thinking about meeting the guy from nj around the two famous cheese steak outfits.
anybody interested in driving, or otherwise participating?
not sure if the wife and kidling are going to be down with a 2.5++hour each way ride in the 40 to philly and back, so i'll probably have a seat open.

Being that I'm a former 14 year resident of Philadelphia (about 20 years ago), as well as a retired regional sandwich ingester, I recommend skipping the offerings from the "Big two". Treat yourself to a roast pork sandwich (wit provolone), from Tony Luke's.
Regrets...you will not have.
