Hydraulic steering setup (1 Viewer)

Ok, in the process of a SOA and I am deciding to go with a total hydraulic steering setup. I was wondering if anyone out there has tried this and what you might think will work best. I will probably use an orbital valve out of an old combine and a hydraulic pump off of a tractor (get the tax discount because they are farm stuff, hehe). Any input would be great because I am probably going to do it this weekend.

Oh I also have an old reservoir/pump combo that I might use, but it is huge.

I would think it should work. My neighbor put one in out of a fork lift. Worked great, except they don't return to center like a normal steering system would. which off road is fine.

I just hope you don't plan on driving it down the road.
