My idle jumps to about 2200 rpm on startup and then goes back and forth to 1100 rpm pretty quickly. It eventually calms down most of the time, but not always. And when I put it in park today, it was running high. My first thought was a vacuum leak. But a quick look around and nothing visible.
I can't see why this would matter, but just in case: It happened at the same time I noticed that my positive battery terminal was very loose and I had to fit it back on or wiggle it to start the car for the day until I replaced the connector.
