I recently purchased man-a-fre's three piece header and upon installing them I realized that the old exhaust pipe has an air injection tube that meets up with the exhaust just before the cat converter. I notice there is no place to hook this up with the header y-pipe and was wondering what to do about this. Should I cut the old injection tube off and cut and weld it into the y-pipe or forget it and just block it off? Without it I am afraid I may burn up my cat converter before long. Is this the case or not?

I don't think you'll burn up your cat. It just will not get enough oxygen to operate as efficiantly at burning the unburnt hydrocarbons in your exhaust. The only way it will prevent a problem is if you are emissions tested, and even then I doubt it would be a problem.
