Anyone know if the gas sending unit is the same as the universal 5-bolt mounting pattern? Or is it metric-ized?

Can't measure mine (it's on the other side of town); also searched: no luck. Thanks. -Ed '70FJ40

    It is metric-ized.... ;)

You can remove the top plate of the aftermarket sending unit, use the gasket for the Toyota tank, transfer the pattern and drill it out.

I just replaced mine. The universal was close, but not exact. I had to file the holes out toward the edge by about 1/32 inch. A small round file and about 15 minutes of work should do it.
