The carb air duct... Is that the whole air cleaner assembly or just the duct that goes to the assembly?
actually jeremy after looking closer it is the sub assembly duct from heater to register... DUCT SUB-ASSY, HEATER TO REGISTER, 55085-90a01

sorry if got your hopes up.

Now that I have a tow rig, i need to get rid of the van. I had grand plans of pulling the motor and scrapping it but right now it just needs to be gone.

$200. 1991 G3500. Passed inspection this spring IIRC, runs well and stops great, could use shocks. Current check engine light, no clue what it is. Lots of rot. Good gopher truck. 18x,xxx miles. Clean title in hand.

If no one buys it I will take it to the scrap yard.

I forgot that I still have this thing in my basement. Let's get it gone! Can likely get it to the Parts Swap this weekend.

Hankook Dynapro MT 295/75/16. Well under 1000 miles. Used for about 10 miles of trails; the rest was street. Tire only. $50 (or interesting trades considered). I went up a size and to KO2, so I don't need it.

SOLD!!!!!

Well, after only being allowed to own her for about 2 months...I have to sell the 1986 FJ60 I bought from a fellow Mud Member in May. Things transpired and I need to be able to do some things around the farm and for parents they cannot do themselves...and the Land Cruiser just is not capable due to size, towing capacity, functionality for what we need right now. Hopefully, I can get another old Land Cruiser in a couple years but will need a full size truck for towing and general farm hauling/work in near future. Here we go...

This rig was followed by many, myself included with Billy doing a great deal of work on her and I started to continue that with some good upgrades and fixes myself.... Here are the basics:

1986 Land Cruiser...original 2F motor with Aisin carb. It has been desmogged and is rust free as was a Texas rig prior to Billy buying her a couple years ago.

I drive this rig to work a couple times a week and nearly every weekend down to Walterboro to our property over an hour each way.

If was keeping her I would tint windows to help the AC keep her colder, new suspension, repaint, aftermarket seats, Tuffy Console and a head refresh and rebuild carb again.

Things replaced, repaired or upgraded by PO or myself:

Clean, rust free….

New carpet throughout

Dash Pad cover

FJ62 Mirrors

Land Cruiser brush guard

Yakima roof rack bars with locks

New tail light lenses and guards

Leather wrapped steering wheel (Wheelskinz)

Re-dyed instrument cluster with vinyl dye

New stainless steel battery mount

New battery

New battery and ground cables (5ea) from “fourrunner” on IH8MUD

I have a set of (4) 17" Toyota TRD plastidipped rims with 37" Cooper STT's. Rims are in good shape, 2 tires are decent and the others are trail spares. Bought these for a steal at $450 from @jfz80 a few months ago, but don't have space for them. Technically the discussion started as "Honey, what are your plans for those?" Need them out ASAP!

$300 OBO, come get em.

That was known as the "million mile diesel", best one Mercedes ever built. In the museum in Stuttgart, it is the only engine displayed with a full cut-away which tells you how proud Mercedes is of it. They were also used in G-Wagons in the mid-80s to early 90s.

That's a heck of a deal, If my 80 project was finished and I had a 40 (lot of ifs), I'd buy it. What was your intention? I know it wasn't going in a 60/62. Wasn't Keefer considering one?

Keefer has one.

I got it in exchange for some work I did and was planning on putting it into a 40 or a pickup/4Runner. It's going to be a long time before I get around to that, so I'm unloading it.
