Saw a Cruiser for sale here in Placitas this weekend...no affiliation.

Peaked in the window and it does have lockers

Dang, a 450"SEL" no less!!!! Should make for a nice rig for someone.

GM wheels and a Mercedes model number... that's a keeper for sure
Huge dent on the back hatch and tailgate adds character

With those wheels and street tires, you know it's never been off pavement.

sl33p3 needs a Hundy.

450 SEL? Do they even know what they have?

450LX...450SEL its the same, isn't it?

It's a LexusMercedes bastardized model, very limited production. Like some MBZ, the hood of this LX opens all the way up for easy access. It's also a curve hugger, as evident by the 20" dubs and the loss of all hubcaps from super high G forces.

thanks for the thoughts fellas. sl33p3 has downsized a while on the 4wd front... but still in the dirt.

Looks like fun!

interesting. 1977 would be a non usa truck. they called their own truck a barn find. if it needs rust repair, or you found in your own barn, I wouldn't call it a barn find.:hillbilly: may not be a bad price. perhaps 8k would be better though, as long as it runs.

So, I am loser without a Cruiser but I still seem to have a ton of FJ-40 parts that need to find a better home.

Here are some of the things I have and need to sell:
1976 Rear Axle
1972 Front Axle with ~40,000 miles
1980-1984 4 speed transmission, with SOR overhaul kit, and a service manual (don't look at the rebuild kit as an indication that the transmission has any issues, I was just wasn't going to put in the four speed unless it was in like-new condition...)
1972ish heater duct hoses
16" white steel wheels with TLC lug pattern (you know the ones...)
16" tundra wheels that come with a free set of TOYO ATs
birfield joint shim/alignment tool OEM
2.5" lift leaf springs with SUPER low miles, OME brand, I think
There is more to come...

If you are interested in anything, please text (preferably) or call me at 505-400-9646. All this stuff is at my business so I am easily available to show it to you 8-5 m-f.
