Fj62 O2 wiring harness help. (1 Viewer)

The PO removed the smog pump and apparently some of hardware that also supported the O2 sensor wiring. Without the support the wiring touched the exhaust manifold (upper portion) and also contacted the hot exhaust pipe down by the O2 sensor. Upper harness is fried with the wires are all frayed, corroded, and exposed from the heat etc. The lower harness (yellow connector) where you actually connect the sensor is melted beyond all repair.
Where the heck do you disconnect this thing (proximally) by the engine block under the EFI some where???? I got a check engine from this too!

I'm having the exact same issue. Did you find where it connects to and did you find replacement wiring?

if i recall correctly, there is a plug above the transmixer. on my manual driven 62, I can hug it from under and reach the plug, but it's a pain in the keyster
