Great save

Seems as though most of the fixed top trucks are in the 13000 range. And that one was one behind mine on the assembly line! Is there any way we could figure out where the dealers were that sold them. In a general sence anyway, I don't even think there was a Toyota dealer in Colorado in 1962/63. Unless it might have been Burt or Stevenson? Any how cool find.

My '63 was sold new at King Motors in Montrose. It's numbered 3FJ45-13034. I bought it from the original owner in 1971 with 53,000 miles. Burt and Stevenson didn't appear until the 70's.
I worked at Battenfield Toyota in Colo Spgs 1970-72. Recognized as top Land Cruiser salesman in US, won a trip to the Bahamas!

I just bought one today 3-fj45-13664, I have seen it on here before, someone in Connecticut had it, then it went to Texas, then Missouri, and now I have it in Oklahoma.

Add one more to the registry... 4-fj45-15552 swb fixed cab just put in my barn! Starting restoration ASAP! Have A LOT of work to do!

i got one that need to by added 1964 number 3FJ4513659
I think the "3FJ45" indicates it's a '63, but depending on the State where is was first registered, back then some States identified the "Year" as the year it was first registered to an owner.

Cult good buddy whats this old girl, more photos please. Forgive me for being picky but That plastic conduit near the build plate dont look standard for 1963, is it modified ?.

Wonder if it was built on same day as my old girl, only 7 fj45s between them

10-4 on the pics big buddy, I'm yet to see it in the flesh. I'd say the conduit is far from stock - good eyes. It has no donk, but apparently an EFI Ford 5.0 in its place.
