You should see the rest of his shop. Awesome, cool, and amazing are appropriate words!

Agreed. Dan's mancave is WORTHY!

My brother in law's dad was clearing for a pond and kind enough to load my trailer instead of pushing the firewood into a swamp. Cherry, white oak, Ash, maple, and a small amount of hickory and poplar.

We can heat over 3k Sq ft. in any temp using a Jotul F600 and a Yukon Super Jack forced air wood furnace. Depending on the year, I'll use 4 to 6 cords if we are not using propane.

From Teton Pass powerline. Lodgepole, about a half cord in the Cruiser.

A picture of the old Kubota and one of the last wood cutting tasks before I traded it in. Miss that old tractor. Also here is a picture of my neighbors old Farmall with a retofitted wood blade. Now that thing can cut some wood.

Old school and new recruits.

What's up with the dogs?

Rocky and Gibbs. Always in my business lol. The photos are pretty poor. Shot them real quick before we jumped in the cruiser and headed out. Had camera on night setting and they very rarely sit still... Boxers, full of energy. The only happy boxer is a tired boxer.

Picked up a Stihl 261cm last week. Wow, great little saw. Light and powerful. It is replacing a SOLO 639, which was also a good German made saw, but my father-in-law ran some watery fuel through it and killed it. Not as strong as my 046, but man is it light.

Very interesting read here I will add a little we use a stihl ms441 and an ms260 with a stihl power pruner at my work. The power pruner is great for limbing up down trees. Easy on the back and keeps your body away from the danger area.

Also an F550 dump and a New Holland 555e does the dirty work.
Here is a few pics of the renovations that we contracted out to do. Mixture of mostly maple, oak and cherry

@snobdds those old farmmall tractors with the saw blade are very cool. Usually they run from a belt, I do not see that in your picture. How does that one run?

There are a couple local clubs by me that have some great old operating machinery.
I love watching those old things run.
