Fairey and transfer removal? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know how to remove this from the transmission?
Undone all the linkages and the four bolts that appear to be holding it on but it's still fast.
I don't want to force it in case there are other fasteners holding in on.

Believe this is like other split transfer cases that require the whole back to be pulled to get to all the bolts that hold it to the transmission.

So slit the case to get to the other bolts inside?

If you do a search on the web, you should be able to locate a service manual. The part number for that particular model Fairey overdrive is 6810.

Want to do a guy in the US a favour you can grab a top cover off a H55F from a 4X series and mail it this way.

Not 100% sure but the piece of the transfer that bolts to the transfer may be the original part. These were the transfer used in all 6X series and directions to remove are probably in the 60 series section. I know it was until our 80 series that a split transfer could be removed without taking it apart.

If I find one, sure.
But they aren't the cheapest of things when you do.
