I need help I have a 89 Mitsubishi Montero 4dr 5sp 3.0 V6 4x4 blown engine and I need to find a 3.0 v6 that will fit in it, is there any engines out there that are 3.0 Mitsubishi engines that would fit. also my rear end is grinding when turning left or right, I replaced the wheel bearings on both sides but it was no help.

Who Replied?if you are still looking for an engine. I know that the dodge d50 engine is the same as a montero. I have also heard that the v6 caravan from the same vintage is also the same engine but dont quote me on that one. I have never actually seen a caravan motor.
