Welcome to the new FAQ section for diesel powered Toyotas and diesel swaps!

With the amount of growth this forum section has seen in recent years it is time for a revamp of our FAQ section. I will endeavour to keep this updated as best as possible with your assistance, please feel free to PM me, tag me in a post or post a link below of any threads or links that are FAQ worthy.

FAQ section for Non-USA and Non-North American Cruisers.

I got this idea from Junk's FAQ in the 80 Series list.

This FAQ thread will be locked and updated by myself. It will be used as a quick way of linking to the threads out there in the forum that are of technical interest to the Cruisers we love. There will be links to the threads out there already, and new link will be added as needed.

If you have any suggestions for new threads, either email me, PM me, or start the thread yourself and bring it to my attention...and I will link it to this page.

Hopefully, this will become a good place to stop by and find information specific to our oil burners and other special Cruisers. And I'm sure with the vast amount of knowledge that are floating around in here, it will be.

Discovering this thread was very empowering because up until this point, it became hopeless. How difficult could it be to search the Internet and find anything out about a 14 B Toyota diesel engine. Well, it is near impossible….. you think I was trying to find secret files for some crazy event. So my thought is:

Are there any 14 B diesel operators out there….? and have you been able to acquire information willing to share?.

With the generous help of @mudgudgeon , I have the English version of the 14B engine repair manual.

my latest journey is trying to find oil and fuel filters. Do we have a 14B section …or are the 3B and 14B the same
