Another batch of hardware out of the shaker

These are the isolators for the radiator. They were crusty, hard packed with rust. a couple days in the shaker and they are clean and soft again.

One of the things I like about a Resto/Mod is not being locked into OEM colors. Went with a two tone black (paint and Lizard Skin) Provides a great contrast to all the aluminum

Beautiful work as always Stan.

B-pillar covers will be here on Friday from the laser cutter. I hope to a few sets out by the following week. Carpet is in production and should ship in the next week or so.

Keep up the great work!

Its, its..... its just so PRETTY!!!! Amazing how technology has advance so much that a motor with close to twice the ponies AND efficiency to boot is that much smaller in the engine bay.

Its amazing what "knowledgeable and competent" people can do. I suck at electrical and am decent/moderate at best on the mechanical side of things...

I'm always surprised when a DIY (AT BEST) guy takes this level of effort, detail and skill for granted...

That makes two of us J... I suck at electrical, until I can have someone make it sound logical to me I wont understand it. Well atleast until I shock the ever-living #$%* outta myself that is. I have known plenty of people that look at stuff like that and say "I could so do that for cheaper" and then pull out this rats nest of garbage. Back when I was into building my own computers I was very anal about how I routed lines/cords and whatnot to maximize airflow through the box/tower. I built a few for people on the side and had one kid tell his parents "I could do that easily for a lot cheaper than he charges you." So they went ahead and let the kid do it. Well low and behold about 6 months later I get a call from them to come fix some issues. The absolute rats nest and garbage components I found was laughable. When I showed them, I told them "you saved money up front but now you get to pay for new components that should have EASILY last years had it a) been done properly and, b) been done with quality items."

I have no problem calling myself a hack or "shade tree mechanic" on a lot of things. But there are those time where I look at what I COULD do and then what someone like Stan could do and say "yeah that extra money is WELL WORTH IT!"

Wires are not so scary..............

Notice that the OEM air cleaner is retained, IMHO this is the best way to go as it is already set up to take air from the fender well and can easily have a snorkel added but the main reason being the HUGE surface area of the filter itself. You'd have to really neglect it for a long time before air flow is restricted to the motor.
