The idea started as just a road trip with the 4-runner. We ended up cramming Zion, Bryce, Escalante/Calf falls, Capital Reef, Dead Horse S.P., Arches, and Moab in one week. Awesome trip although way too short.
Great rig, put 1277 miles on it, and avg of 25.12 mpg.

How well did the four cylinder do on the hills with four adult size people and luggage? I'm been real impressed with my 3.4 V6, my 2010 Sequoia sits in the garage and use my 99 almost all the time.

Great pics John!! Looks like a fun time.

Not bad, seems to pull grades as well if not better than the V6 in my Dakota. It did labor in and out of 3rd gear (for example, out of Roosevelt, and both ways over Pinal pass). Worse case, we would drop down to the actual speed limit.;) Years ago we owned an '87 pickup with a 22R, can't beat Toyota inlines imo.

Built on the chassis of the Toyota Tacoma, the Toyota Ultimate Utility Vehicle (TUUV) is … well, a Sienna mated to a Tacoma, part of a promotional cross-country drive. Aside from that, Toyota said nothing else, saying it was saving the rest of the details for the SEMA auto parts show in October.

It also looks to be made for someone who is pretty skinny. People complain about the small cab in the 45 pickup. I think this might even be smaller.
And stumps for arms (yes a typical American truck driver's gut would act as a steering damper), check out both pics and the huge steering wheel, too funny, I love it!
