EMS Powered in Austin, TX. Have had great experience with them for things like exhaust and turbo work. I've also taken cruisers there for general maintenance and tune ups.

Couple of updates for Colorado mechanics;

Proffitts has closed shop, and Classic Cruisers has a website at classiccruisers.com

Baertrax in Dallas

Just had Josh at Baertrax rebuild my front and rear axles and differentials. Went from 4:11's to 4:56's and am thrilled. He has a great shop, is honest and forthright, and manages his business well.

Josh is very detail oriented, he did a great job setting up the diffs, and even powder coated the pumpkins to make them look nice. The truck drives beautifully.
:)

I am going to have him install an OME lift and ARB bumper next month.

Highly recommended....

Mike

I like that there's a nice list by state now, I would just add G.P. Auto in Gainesville. Gunner is the mechanic there. Best mechanic I've ever delt with. Not only does he do a great job, but let me do a ton of work myself to save some money, and taught me a lot in the process. Awesome guy, wouldn't take my truck anywhere else. Also, he's funny as hell. Only catch, he only works overnight.

i feel your pain ... i live in Brooklyn and no one wants to touch my rigs.
i just had a mobile mechanic on this forum not show up after over a month of planning.

im giving up and going to these guys :

Georg I almost moved there just so I could be a shop rat at your place!

Thanks again for all your help last year!

P.S. Salt Lake has a couple shops that do great work too!

I find it hard to believe there is no shop in North Florida...Jacksonville or even in South Georgia. Anyone heard of a place?

Is there any chance of the main listing post getting updated so people don't have to look through the whole thread?

List has been updated.

10 new shops added

Thanks
