clicking under dash when accelerating on grade -- (1 Viewer)

so, if i'm on a hill, etc. and go from brake to gas pedals, when hitting the gas peddle (ever so slightly), i get a clicking (??) beneath the dash, then the acceleration.

what in the world is causing the clicking -- like 3-4?

It could be the system that automatically applies the brakes when on a hill... HAC...

what he said^^^^^^^ The first couple times it does it almost sounds like something is broken, it's just the system stopping you from going backwards... get on a steep hill and take your foot off the brake and the gas peddle, it will roll a little bit and then catch it's self...

No worries. The first time it went off in my LX, it freaked me and my wife out! and then I remembered that it had this system and sat there laughing and trying again and again with my wife rolling her eyes.
