What's the best way to clean the underbody? Is there any carwashes with lifts so you can spray the dirt and mud out?

Thanks,
Brandon

Park it over one of the oscillating lawn sprinklers for a few hours, then spray the rest off at the car wash.

X2 but I've had better luck with the spinning sprinklers.

i tried the sprinkler thing, seemed to use an obscene amount of water.

Yes, it is a lot of water, but it is a good way to wash away the salt if you spend time on the beach as diluting it with lots of fresh water is the only way to get rid of it.
Mud is a bit harder to get rid on, especially the sticky clay we get in some parts. The sprinkler just rinses the surface of that and is a waste of time. Crawling underneath with a high pressure jet is the only way to get rid of that.

I used one of these: I'd lay the hose out from front to rear so the sprinkler would clear the drive line and the little tractor followed the length of the hose. When it came out the back it was basically done. You still need to feed the hose down the chassis rails to get the sand and rubbish that is trapped there.
