I'm planning on going with 315/75/16 on the factory rims on my LX450/80 Series. Below are a list of the tires I'm considering based on the cost/reviews/research I've compiled. Prior to making the purchase, which will likely be this coming week, would love some feedback/warnings/experience comments/photos if you have the items/or recommendations on products I have not thought about. Thanks in advance!!!

Stay away from the big horns. I had them and hated them every day and couldn't have been happier when I finally got rid of them. They wear horribly and suck offroad in mud or snow.

Been very happy with my Toyo MTs.

Toyo MT's and Coopers need some consideration I think.

@djzimms
You should include your intended use. Based on your listed location snow does not appear to be in the forecast.

From the 4 tires you listed I'd pick the Nitto's solely based on my positive experience with a set of terra grapplers.

My favorite wheeling tire to date has been my General Grabber red labels. I'll probably replace my current Toyo MTs with the new Generals when the time comes.

I have a set of dedicated winter tires/wheels or I'd still be on some sort of AT living in Durango.

Check out the tire test at Expedition Portal:

Where the Rubber Meets the Road

I bought a set of the Cooper AT3 in June 2016 for my Tacoma and have found the tires to work well so far.

Yes, two weeks ago went across Snoqualmie Pass (I-90) in a snow storm then farther east did some snow wheeling in the Cascade foothills.

The AT3s did well on the freeway in the slushy snow, and aired-down in the deeper (2 to 24 inch) snow on Colockum Pass (an historical travel route just west of the Columbia River.)

any snow driving with 'em yet?
