Buying 2009 LC 200. What to think about? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
New member from Stockholm, Sweden.
A few years ago i had the 2003 LC 100.
Now i'm intersted in a 09 LC 200 diesel w around 70000 miles.
Anything special i should be aware of and check?
Problems that are common?
What are the main improvements compare to the 100?

make sure that car not from Russia.

Check out the basics vehicle service history/accident reports. If everything comes back clean, main item that might fail is water pump, also check of ahc is working properly don't think kdss is available on the diesel. Some diesel models had issue consiming high amounts of oil and make sure the diesel filter has been cleaned out regularly.

Try sending a pm to @4x4tripping or hopefully he can come here and give his opinion, he drove one across all of africa and then went on to do a trip across south america and i don't think he had any major issues

End of the day it should be just as or more reliable than a well taken care of 100 series.
