BTB Steering Column Firewall Mounting Bracket (1 Viewer)

Guys,

I am getting ready to install my Ididit steering column and I believe I mocked up the mounting bracket wrong. I searched MUD and found references of the bracket mounted on the interior firewall. Is there any issue having the mounting bracket on the exterior firewall (in engine bay)?

I see no problem with your install, will there be some form of gasket (thick rubber or something) under your interior mounting plate???

Yes, I have a gasket for the interior plate. I am glad I do not have to drill/patch more holes in the fiberglass tub. Thanks Downey!
