I should have said that I am currently using Mobil 1 0w-40; works in the Cruiser and the BMW. I have considered using the Redline 10w-30 since Redline is available locally for $6.50 quart.

currently have pennzoil 10w30 in 80
think i put 10w30 supertech in my nissan last due to the price of pennzoil doubling a week after i bought it for the 80

going to be trying either the mobile drive clean plus 10w40 or mobile one 15w50 in the 60 here soon. if it looks good ill switch all the cruisers to it.

Checking in:

1997 LC
(I live in S. CA so there is no winter :D)

Castrol 10W-40
3000-5000 mile changes (try to make 3k but sometimes go a little over)
ATF - Mobil 1 ATF
Transfer/Diffs - Mobil 1 gear oil

1989 Porsche 911 Turbo
Mobil 1 10W-50
3000-3001 mile changes (I don't freakin' drive it if I don't have time to change it, too damn expensive to fix!)
Tranny - Mobil 1 gear oil

1970 FJ40
no oil / big huge hole in block (like a Corvair, ifin it ain't leakin' oil, it ain't got none in it!)

1968 912
engine out of car right now so Castrol 10W-40 for rings to break in then maybe Mobil 1, or maybe not.

1965 Hottie (converted to Wifey-Poo)
...man, I was going to cross the line here based on the earlier threads but had a sudden fit of decorum...

Cheers!
