I am in the process of mounting a Smittybilt X2O winch with synthetic rope to a ARB bull bar on a 2004 Toyota Tacoma. I have been been having some issues I am hoping someone can help with. On the bull bar the winch and the aluminum fairlead use the same lower bolt holes. The problem is that the holes in the fairlead are larger than the holes in the winch causing the fairlead to be able to move around once mounted. Does anyone know what would need to be done? Thanks in advance for the help.

How much bigger are the holes in the bumper for the fairlead than the bolts?

Typically you use a sleeve of some kind to fill the hole around the smaller bolt. Provided you can cut a small length of pipe to fill the gap after it slides over the bolt, it will take the slop out.
