anyone have electrical diagrams for a 92? tach wiring? (1 Viewer)

Hey Everybody!

I'm trying to get my tach working, I am looking to find which wire runs from the stock tach in to the engine compartment for the + and pulse wiring in the stock wiring harness. As mine has been hacked up when the PO put the cummins in and I dont know anyone around here with a fj80, so it is a little more involved.

Anyhoo, anyone got an electrical diagram?

Ive been having a hard time getting pics out of FAQ and from some of the previous threads, seems like someone's been changing things...

Tachometer signal comes from the igniter. Same signal can be monitored on the check connector on the firewall, pin 18 (IG-).

Sorry Jon, which is the check connector? is pin 18 labeled? any chance you know the wire colour in the engine compartment?

The check connector is on the passenger side of the firewall. The PO may have taken it out for the Cummins swap though.
