Any compatibility issues using Duplicolor Engine Primer with Rustoleum Engine Paint? (1 Viewer)

Im planning on painting my 1FZ-FE block when it comes back from the machine shop. I purchased the engine primer not realizing that the high temp paint I have is a different brand. Any issues here?

Also, I've had excellent results using self etching primer, but it's not high temp. I've read some forums where people are still using it. Any advice on painting the engine? Thanks!

Brush this stuff on. No need to spray. Ultra smooth finish. Looks like it was sprayed.

Thanks for suggestion. That looks like a nice option.

I looked at both cans and they are both enamel so I'm assuming they would be fine to use together.
