Anyone got handy the front seat bracket dimensions for a '76 FJ40? I'm away from my Cruiser and thinking about ordering seats off the internet. Just hoping someone could provide mounting hole distances of the seat frame (front to back and left to right) so I can order sliders/seats that fit stock set up.

    Thanks

I have a 74, so I'm not sure my measurements would help, but...I installed the bucket seats from an early 90's Supra, and they are great...leather, v. secure, adjustable, toyota, great looking and cheaper than Sparco, etc!

i want to install 5 point safety harnesses because of getting thrown around when mudding. what seats are compatible, but reasonably inexpensive at the same time?

Not sure about their overall quality, but Pep Boys near me has APC racing seats suitable for use with a harness for under 150$ per seat. The demos were quite comfortable. Not sure about how easily they will fit into a Cruiser though. I'm sure something could be fab'd.
