Ford 86 F250 (1 Viewer)

So I'm having some problems with my 86 F250 4x2, with a 460. The truck starts idles up then after about a minute it dies. I rebuild the Holley carb, put in new fuel filter and the pump works for sure. I can't figure this out. I did just do a new timing chain install and the timing is close, not exact as it won't run for more then a minute. Emmisons have been removed besides the PCV valve. Any help would be great.

Sounds like the float level is out if it only runs for 1 minute.

That's what I was thinking. I've put it in the back burner for now and honestly just plan on putting an Edelbrock on it to get rid of the 30 year old emmisons holley.
