Today I finished the last missing piece to get the lockers working on my 80.
The missing piece was the bit of harness that runs from the kick panel all the way back under the quarter panel. Rather than find a donor harness or splice into the non-locker harness, I decided to build one from scratch, using the correct terminals so that it's pretty much plug and play:
This end plugs into the locker harness of the axle:
The housing I bought should work, but it lacks the extra terminal lock from the original so I re-pinned an original housing.
This end plugs into the empty spots in the back of one of the connectors in the kick panel:
I bought quite a few of the Sumitomo terminals, so if any of you need to do some factory-ish wiring let me know.
