Hi! New here so Zack here from ND. I have a 1979 Midas Traveler that a few drunks decided to take on a joy ride and hit a flooded ditch doing 90 mph. The 79 had new breaks, diffs, transfer case, transmission, and the motor had been rebuilt but is blown now. My question is that I found a 76 Traveler that has a great body and good motor and I am wondering if I can use the motor, frame, and body from the 76 and change the interior, dash, wiring, brakes, roof, grill, everything bolted onto my old 345 that is new, etc off of the 79? Anything I may have issues with? Thanks!

Yes, you can. Pretty much everything is interchangeable. The only exception is the 304 motor, which has a number of differences from the 345 such that a number of things are not interchangeable. So if the new one has a 304 you will have issues with swapping stuff from the 345.

Best of luck...by far THE biggest POS my Dad ever owned was a 1974 Travelall. The '75 Scout was an entirely different story.
