30x9.5 or 31x10.5 (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I am in the process of purchasing a 1983 toyota pick up. I am trying to figure out tire size. Wondering what the preference for this little trucks is 31 x10.5 or 30x9.5

Hi all,

The stock diameter tire is probably about 28 inches so either the 30X9.5 or the 31X10.5 will be larger.

Personally, I think 31X10.5R15 tires look pretty good on many stock, and mildly lifted trucks.

I believe it is the same as the 60 series Land Cruisers which is 15" rims with 235/75r15 wheels which is approximately 28.5". I swapped over to 31" tires on my stock height FJ60 and they more than fill the wheel wells nicely without rubbing.
