I haven't read through the whole thread recently, but if you haven't already, get the rotating assembly balanced while you are at it. I'm just getting my 2FE running right now, and holy crap the difference. Spins 4,600 like it's nothing!

Just came back from the machine shop. Asked him about balancing and he said no one does that in this country hahahaha.

Could be a potential business line. If anyone gave a f#¥k. I guess no one does.

So was schooled on the process of installing the valve oil seal. Talk about primitive stuff.

Anyone want to come over for a bunch of bananas?

Bummer. It required a specialized piece of equipment, which I'm sure is not cheap. I'd bet if one machine shop invested in it, it wouldn't sit idle.

Good luck with the rest of your build, looking forward to future updates.

Spicy or regular ? With extra garlic sauce ?

I like them both, but prefer the spicy with the garlic sauce.

Maybe some grilled fish or grilled camel and lamb kebabs instead?

I work in Jeddah twice a year for a week each time. I have an adjunct position at KAU King Fahd Medical Research Center. I try to avoid the summer months.

He could bring you some Loctite :D

I could bring you a tapered pipe thread tap.

Thank you for your kind offer. I have never driven there yet. I just take a taxi and cover my eyes when I am on the highway. It looks a lot like Los Angeles: Same cars, same shops, same fast food and the same freeways, except they have 12 lanes of cars on a freeway designed for 6 all driving at 120 KPH. Thank goodness that people don't drink alcohol. They have TGI Fridays with no waitresses and no alcohol. What is fun about that?

No need for the pipe threader. Thanks

Ok restarted the build and got some remaining things.

Valve stem oil seals on : )

Ok a lot has happened.

Nearly there.

Waiting on two push rods that I need to match the other 10. For some reason I got 2 that have shallow buckets at the top. So once they arrive i will close her up and fill her with oil.
