Hello,
I want to share my experience for folks here who may be having similar issue for better troubleshooting.
Started with slow cranking when you press engine start button it cranks 2 or 3 times and stops press button again all lights dim like as if battery is dying and cranks slow slow and then starts maybe have to try third time as well.
I checked online and most of people mentioned same problem in different vehicles being starter going out.
I checked battery with multimeter, after about 4 to 5 hours of turning off engine it was showing around 12.4 volts. I cranked motor and the voltage reading was 13.5v while engine running.
other signs i experienced was that the courtesy and interior lights turn off and i had to manually put them back on auto every time. Another related issue was that the navigation was taking some time to boot and show progress bar with text saying system booting which never happened before and take 10 to 15 seconds everytime i start. One more issue was that as soon as vehicle turns on the lexus link calls itself and had to turn off.
So i took it to autozone and had them load test battery which revealed that battery apparently has a bad cell so its not a starter.
Next thing i called lexus since it has lexus battery, they told me that warranty works like this: first 2 years free replacement, year 3 and 4 50% proration and year 5 6 and 7 25% proration. My battery is 3 years and 2 months old so they will charge me $104.65 to replace battery which i believe better than buying $100 walmart battery.

Update: I took my lx to dealer 120 miles away. Told them battery is 3 years old and is bad now slow crank. The lady in service dept checked vin and asked if i paid for battery last time or was it warranty replacement, i guessed that i paid so what she did was she called the dealership which was listed on the record and asked them was this battery paid or warranty replacement last time, that was before i owned vehicle. The other dealership told it was replacement but since it is 3 years so you should prorate 50%, but this lady at dealership said no my manager told in last meething week before that warranty is only replaced once if it goes bad again then you have to pay for it out of pocket. I started arguing that what the warranty is good for then? if warranty replacement goes bad in one month then whats the point of replacing?, She said if you have business and you get someone come in 1 times for warranty of same part you will not give him part 1 times, i told her if part keeps failing it means there is something wrong with my part not warranty. And warranty means they have faith that part will last that long otherwise theres no point of warranty. Anyways, after some heated arguments she said lemme check with my manager and see what i can do. few minutes later she came back and said ok, so we will put you new battery and charge you what it should ne with 50% proration and not charge you labour on top of that vacuum and wash you car. So, i ended up paying $116.62 for new battery and had her write that free replacement for 2 years from today`s date and 50% proration for the following 2 years. I believe, it is better to have lexus battery for $116 than walmart battey for $100

Was it a panasonic battery? Just curious, as my 2008 200 series still had the ORIGINAL panasonic battery...when I bought it, and it was 7 years old!
