Just wondering if anyone has done it or thought about swapping a 1998 up cruiser t case in to make it AWD or possibly even swapping in a 1998 up Cruiser rear end for the locker capability? Just random thoughts. Currently have a 1999 Cruiser and it works nicely but a truck might fit our needs better.

well you will end up with a 5 lug bolt pattern if you swap axles, lot of people go with some sort of LSD like kazuma or auburn (I think auburn makes one) Also the cruiser tcase would be offset so your stock axle would be centered causing a angled driveline but doable since it's so long. If you did the tcase, with the rear end, you could probably make the landcruiser front hubs or entire knuckles bolt on leaving you with a complete 5 lug setup. Now after explaining that all, it sounds like a cool idea, and a cool truck....just sold my 2001 tundra.....crap....
