SOLD to a good home. LMK if you want me to search for a GX from the auctions. With LexusDrivers.com and Carfax, we can gain an idea of the maintenance.

Been a member for a bit and am selling this through my dealer license. I do NOT own an actual dealership, but am an automobile enthusiast who wanted access to the good cars at the Dealer Only Car Auctions (which have great cars. Plus I don't have to register the car, which saves $$$).

Bought this to replace my FJ62 because I just started a family and wanted something safer for the little one but sits too high for my wife to get baby/gear in and out.

For sale is a California born and bred Lexus GX470. I am the 2nd owner with clean Carfax. Very well maintained and a very sexy, rust free undercarriage which makes Cali cars a premium. This was the last GX that can accommodate 87 octane (I have been putting in 91 anyway to fuel the fires of the powerful V8). Onyx black with grey leather interior with 3rd row seats and rear a/c.

About the car:

1. Recent 90k service & some other things I had done ($1900) from the reputable Toyota specialists The Toy Shop which included:

• New timing belt.
• New water pump.
• New actuators.
• New Pulleys.
• New rear brakes.
• Oil and filter change.
• All fluids flushed and replaced.
• Fresh differential oil.

2. Engine pulls hard. No hitch and no sign of a hitch ever connected which means no transmission strain from pulling cargo.
3. Navi and Mark Levinson premium stereo and back up camera.
4. Brand new Cooper ATB A/T 265/70/17 wheels with less than 2000 miles on them. Free lifetime rotation and limited warranty will be transferred to new owner by way of America's Tire.
5. Lexus All weather mats for all seats. All weather cargo mat in trunk.
6. The dash does have cracks but it is covered under Lexus dash recall that I am already in line at Serramonte Lexus. I can transfer my place in line to the new owner if this sale stays in city.
7. New TPMS in all tires including the spare.
8. Title in hand. Books and original tool kit too.
9. Clean Carfax. I am 2nd owner.

Cons:
1. CD changer is making funny noises and is not working. I haven't listened to a CD in 10 years so I never bothered with it.
2. Some light wear on drivers seat bolster.
3. Some paint chips and a small dent.
4. Some minor curb rash.
5. UPDATED. Front left CV boot torn.


Future:
May need new front shocks in the next 5000 miles.

I will assist out of state buyers and can coordinate getting this to a nearby mechanic for inspection and work with your car shipper.

This was on the market earlier this year, but took it off as I thought I had a deal with my wife where this will be my car and she takes our DD. Hmmm, I don't think so. The KDSS light does not turn on when I start the car nor is there a boot over the front sway. But I hope I'm wrong! @mcewan13 here is a pic of the passenger side door. The PO may have scraped it. I have touch up and need to apply. I tried to take a pic of the small dent, but it was too dark in the garage and I couldnt capture the dent...its not big. Didnt have time to drive it out and photo.
