I am looking into doing a full drive terrain swap for my avenger. What are the details one would ask... The engine I am wanting to swap is a 6A13tt out of a galant VR4. I plan on using the all wheel drive setup from an eclipse near the same year as the avenger. My question is what will I need for the engine swap? i.e. wiring, mounts. I have plenty experience with mitsubishi as far as a mechanic stand point, so getting fuel from the tank to the engine and power to the starter from the ignition is not an issue. My main concern is how to setup the communication for the instrument cluster and switches for a/c and things of that nature. The engine is going to come with the front clip of the VR4.
The drive line should not be to difficult as I will be cutting out the carrier mounts and retro fitting the rear to accept the rear diff and fuel tank. I am curious to know if the transfer case will be affect by the rack support mounted to the body.....
