I have used them all here in Portland, and found TFC plating is honest and beyond fair. Yellow Chromate and clear zinc are the two on a 40.

I powder all resto parts in BK08 which is a matte black.

What color do you use for the Pewter?

The owner drives is and enjoys it, not everyday.

He removed the OME springs and replaced with new factory springs as he wanted a softer ride.

He has to have it appraised for his insurance every few years and forwarded he latest to me. It was nice to read the comments about the attention to details and he had never seen the use of nylon washers in a resto. I pioneered using them 15 years ago and still use them under every bolt to this day.
 
Found this searching for Beige 464 and just read through most of the thread....Absolutely love this resto! Nice work!
