105 sub tank fit an 80 series?? (1 Viewer)

Been looking on au ebay and they are selling a 105 1FZFE sub tank. Just want to see if it would fit in my 80 series??

I think there is one other similar topic here. Last month someone came up with this idea, but after he got his answer he erased all his posts. Makes no sense reading through it now.
In short, I think the answer was no. Different sizes, fittings, etc.

I can see that maybe the 100 series wouldnt work, but what about the 105 series. 105 is pretty much an 80 series frame with a 100 series body. The tank I am looking as is from a 105 series with the 1FZFE engine.

If you could I would appreciate it.. Maybe with measurements, I am pretty sure it will work just want to confirm before I spend the money getting it stateside.

There are several companies that make nice aftermarket tanks of many configurations.

I think if you have the dual filler neck and George ECU , the aftermarket tank is the best way to go
